Welcome to Woodbend Wheaten Terriers

At Woodbend Wheaten Terriers, we have been breeding CKC puppies from fully health tested parents for over 40 years.  Originally we raised Labrador Retrievers but 10 years ago we aquired our first wheaten and now we are solely focused on the SCWT. 

All our dogs are health tested through OFA & Embark to ensure we are breeding healthy pups to the best of our ability.  Puppies are raised in our home and we'll socialized.   All puppies go with a veterinary exam, first vaccines and a 5 year written health guarantee.

Our dogs are a combination of North American and European bloodlines.  We produce American and European coat types.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often do you breed ?

We usually have one or 2 litters per year.

How many litters do your females have ?

This really depends on our girls on our girls.  Some are great moms and bounce back to have 1 to 3 litters others may only have 1.

How do famillies pick a puppy ?

Once puppies are evaluated for temperament  and character we work with the famillies to evaluate their needs and expectations.
